Lady Gaga first to cross 10 mn Twitter followers

Lady Gaga became the first person to have more than 10 million followers on Twitter. The American pop singer is more popular on Twitter than teen pop sensation Justin Bieber and US President Barack Obama.
Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, has posted far fewer tweets than her closest competition on Twitter. She is also the first person to attract one billion views on YouTube. She also has over 34 million fans on Facebook.
"10MillionMonsters! I'm speechless, we did it! Its an illness how I love you. Leaving London smiling," Lady Gaga tweeted on reaching the 10 million follower mark. The 25-year-old singer recently broke up with her longtime boyfriend Luc Carl.

Back in April 2009 Ashton Kutcher became the first to reach the million followers mark on Twitter. Justin Bieber is also fast heading towards the 10 million followers mark. He currently has about 9.7 million followers on Twitter and Beiber also features on more Twitter lists than Lady Gaga.
Amongst Indian celebrities on Twitter, cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar and author cum Congress MP Shashi Tharoor have over one million Twitter followers.

Angelina Jolie has Brad Pitt permanently on her arm.

Jolie's latest tattoo sparked adoption speculation last month, when she revealed a new set of map coordinates on her arm, just underneath tattoos of coordinates of the birthplaces of her six children. But as PEOPLE.com suspected, the tattoo was in honor of Pitt, not a new child.

"Well if they know that it's latitude and longitude they would have figured out quickly that it was Brad's birthplace." Jolie told Extra on Wednesday. "It's Shawnee, Oklahoma."

 

Jolie – at the Cannes Film Festival promoting her new film Kung Fu Panda 2 – also says there's no possibility of adopting at this time. However, her movie does deal with the subject of adoption and she was happy to watch it with her kids and talk about it.

"We talk very openly in our house, so 'orphanage, birth parents,' are happy words in our house, and it's not a thing," Jolie says.  "It seemed very normal and they loved it."

A star has been born. Or found, out in the Australian outback.
Newcomer and recent drama school Elizabeth Debicki has been cast as Jordan Baker, love interest of narrator/protagonist Nick Carraway (Tobey Maguire), in the upcoming big screen adaptation of "The Great Gatsby." Director Baz Luhrmann explained the unlikely casting of Debicki in a statement to Deadline:
"It was a surprising result, but Elizabeth's grasp of the material and her chemical connectivity to Tobey Maguire, in addition to her striking, athletic appearance, had us in a place where we were fully confident and ready to take the leap of giving the role of Jordan Baker to what, I guess, people would term 'a discovery,'" he said. "We are thrilled."
Speaking to the Australian website PerformersHub.au, Debicki spoke about her stratospheric rise from performing in a 10-years old performance of "CATS" to drama school to major motion picture, staying humble despite her gigantic new role.
"It all seems so outrageous that I will get an agent. I guess the bigger you dream, the further you have to fall if you don't get it, so it can be a bit of a scary thing to be that ambitious. But I was," she said.
Clearly, there will be no fall at all.
She did have some advantages: Luhrmann himself is Australian, and the film will be shot in their home country. Debicki joins a cast that, beyond Maguire, includes Leonardo DiCaprio as the enigmatic Jay Gatsby, Carey Mulligan as Daisy Buchanan and perhaps Isla Fisher as Tom Buchanan's mistress, Myrtle.

So this is a new way of looking at Jennifer Aniston. In, ahem, more ways than one.
America's sweetheart since her days on "Friends" and reigning romantic comedy good girl, Aniston exposes a new side of herself in the upcoming comedy, "Horrible Bosses." She plays one of three horrible bosses (along with Kevin Spacey and Colin Farrell) that make the lives of stars Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day awful -- and drives them to murder.
Aniston's orthodontist is perhaps the funniest boss of them all, a sleazy orthodontist who spends much of the film sexually harassing Charlie Day's character. Which goes to show how far out of the ordinary her taste is; after all, she was once in a loving relationship with Brad Pitt.
In fact, Aniston filmed a version of one of the film's scenes entirely topless and exposed, which is something new for her; whether it stays in the film or not still has not been decided.
The dark comedy hits theaters July 8th.

 Donald Trump will have you know that his much-discussed hairstyle is no comb-over. But "yes, I do use a comb," he explains to Rolling Stone in an interview obtained by the New York Daily News. "Do I comb it forward? No, I don't comb it forward," he says. "It's sort of a little bit forward and back. I've combed it the same way for years. Same thing, every time."
But first, he washes it with Head and Shoulders shampoo. "I don't dry it, though. I let it dry by itself. It takes about an hour," during which time he reads the morning papers, he says, adding that he's quite proud of his head of very famous hair. "I actually don't have a bad hairline," he concludes. Vivid Entertainment honcho Steven Hirsch sent Pippa the letter, saying he thought she was the star of the royal wedding and that her "beauty and attitude" would make her a huge adult star. The fact she had some semi-racy photos surface this week probably didn't hurt either. Steven offered only $1 million to Nadya Suleman, aka "octomom", in 2009.
Steven is also offering $1 million for one scene to Pippa and Kate's brother James who has apparently been asked but it's unlikely we'll hear a reply from him or Pippa.

And while Hurlock insists he has no intention of joining Childs on screen for series three of the hit ITV2 show, Childs says she thinks she has found her perfect partner.
She said: 'Things are going really well. We were in bed and I said, "I do think I love you". '
Asked if she has found 'The One', Childs replied: 'Yes, I think so.'
However, when asked if Hurlock would ever consider making an appearance on The Only Way Is Essex, she replied: 'I think people would love to see our relationship. But you've got Mark and Lauren, Kirk and Lauren, and Arg and Lydia.

'You probably don't need another couple. I think that might be why I haven't been in this series as much as the storylines have been based around these relationships' ups and downs.'

But while the pictures show that the couple are very close, Hurlock admits things didn't get off to the best start.
Recalling their first date, he told new! magazine: 'Amy asked me to meet her in London. She was with her mum and auntie and they'd been out all day. I turned up and couldn't find her anywhere - she'd told me to go to the wrong bar!
'And when I finally found her, she was drunk.
'Her mum and auntie were interrogating me, then Amy fell asleep on my lap.
'I was propping her up as we left the bar. I struggled to find a taxi driver who would take them home and, when I did, she was sick in his cab.'
Childs laughed: 'I can't believe I didn't put
him off. And he came in for a massage the next day.'
Hurlock also spoke about how he felt when rumours came out about Childs and Peter Andre.
He said: 'It wasn't too bad as I'd seen Amy before she went out that night and when she got home.
'Sometimes the headlines are worse than the pictures. At the start, it was hard as I'm new to all this, but I know now that you can¹t believe everything you read.'
And, asked what he thinks of childs on The Only Way Is Essex, Hurlock said: 'She comes across really well. I'm proud of her.'
