London: Just months after he was forced to deny allegations of trysts with a USD 10,000-a-night prostitute, David Beckham has been hit by new claims, from a lingerie saleswoman.
The latest scandal has been made public by the US magazine In Touch, which had published the report about his affair with call-girl Irma Nici, reported Daily Mail online.
The allegations came out in court, after Beckham took legal action against the magazine and its publishers for printing the "completely untrue" story. Earlier this year, the 35-year-old footballer issued a writ against the German company, reportedly claiming USD 16 million in damages.
Now the publishers have used the privilege of court to make the new claims, reportedly revealing they were set to run a story about a second fling, this time with an American lingerie saleswoman. But sources have already shot down the latest claims, branding them a "smokescreen" and have revealed Beckham``s plans see the legal battle through.
Beckham has been married to former ``Spice Girl`` Victoria Beckham for the past 11 years. The couple have three sons, Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 7 and Cruz 5.
