Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis in steamy on-screen kiss

This will set tongues wagging. Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis lock lips in a sexy girl-on-girl scene from their new movie Black Swan.
The two actresses play bitter stage rivals who also share a twisted friendship in the eagerly-anticipated thriller exploring the cut-throat world of ballet stardom.
But this is the scene in Hollywood has been talking about.

Portman, 29, stars as a technically perfect ballerina picked as the lead in a New York City production of Swan Lake after the lead dancer, played by Winona Ryder, is unable dance.
Portman's character is pushed by her overbearing stage mother, a manipulative dance master (and lover) and an obsessive relationship with her stand-in dancer played by Kunis.

The thrills are heightened by the idea that neither Portman, nor the movie-goer, is fully aware of whether the Kunis's ill-intentions towards Portman are imagined or real.

But the stars' chemistry is undeniably real in this scene.
Portman, who is a classically trained dancer, has attempted to downplay the scene with Kunis, telling MTV that 'it's not explicit in any way.'

'It's a very extreme movie,' she said. 'It's like very extreme situations.'

The movie is building a tremendous buzz as an award favorite for director Darren Aronofsky in his follow-up to the critically-acclaimed film The Wrestler.
Black Swan has even been honoured with opening the Venice Film Festival on September 1.
