Cast, crew had thrown all-night party
WHERE'S the Tardis when you need it. Karen Gillan, who stars as Amy Pond in Doctor Who, was reportedly found naked in a New York hotel corridor after a night of riotous partying.
Gillan, 23, who plays the Time Lord’s assistant, was seen "whimpering" in the nude by guests at 7am before security arrived, wrapped her in a sheet and escorted her to her room, the Daily Mail reported.
Gillan and Doctor Who costars, including the Doctor actor Matt Smith, were staying at The Ace, one of Manhattan’s trendiest hotels, on a promotional trip.
After fulfilling their duties, the cast and crew enjoyed "one long party", according to fellow guests. One permanent male guest told the Daily Mail he heard someone trying to open his door at 7am.
The resident, who later identified the stranger as Miss Gillan, said: "I went to the peephole and looked out. I saw a man at the lift who was looking back at someone who was attempting to open my door … the next thing I saw was a woman giving this person at my door two towels before getting into the lift and leaving.
"Then I saw this young woman, completely naked, trying to wrap two towels around her and not having much luck.
"She then started to whimper and knock on my door. Seeing that she wasn’t getting anywhere, she lay down with the towels covering her."
Security arrived, noticed her room key and wrapped her up and took her back to her suite. The resident added: "I never saw Lady Godiva again."
Suzanne Leonara, another resident, said: "This girl looked as though she hadn’t been to bed. Everyone who saw her thought she was completely zonked out."
The trip, organised by BBC Worldwide, the corporation’s commercial arm, took place in April.
Last night a BBC Worldwide spokesman said: "We’re unaware of this alleged incident." Gillan’s spokesman declined to comment.

SCHOOL-run mums envious of how glamorous Elle Macpherson looks when dropping off her son should breathe a sigh of relief. It takes hours to look that good.
The reason the 48-year-old yummy mummy looks so picture perfect and stain-free every weekday morning is that she's often on the way to a photo shoot.
Macpherson’s glamorous outfits and look has attracted plenty of attention in the UK, with pictures of her doing the school run appearing on countless of magazines and sending "normal" mums into fits of jealousy and despair.
“I find it amusing that so much is made about my appearance, especially when I'm dropping my son off at school,” she told British magazine Radio Times. Mums, do you care how good you look on the school run. Tell us below in comments?
“I'm often on the way to work, so I've spent two hours having my hair and make up done, and I'm wearing ‘work’ clothes.
But she takes only ten minutes to get ready when she isn't working. “I don't wear make up, high heels and leather trousers in everyday life."
She also reckons she has secret to looking good, although it doesn't seem to be that much of a secret - a healthy diet, plenty of water and no drinking or smoking.
“I don't run eight miles a day like I used to. I eat a lot of organic food and drink lots of water, and I take time for meditation to set up my day,” she said.

SOPHIE Monk has taken the law into her own hands by confronting a lewd stalker on internet phone service Skype.
Monk called the antagonist and told him he was a "coward" as she adopted a "face it front on" attitude.
"He was ringing me all through the night to the point I had to turn my computer off ... and all of a sudden this message comes up, 'Can I please pleasure myself for you?','' Monk told Fox FM's Matt and Jo Show today.
"I was like, 'Hey' and he was like, 'Oh my god, it’s really you!' and I was like, 'Yep! No, that's the answer' and he was like, 'I'm so so sorry, I didn't know what I was doing, I'll erase you right now'."
Following the incident, Monk had her number removed.
She also revealed she had a stalker on Facebook but didn't erase him because "he might come murder me."
"I don't know what else to do, especially when you're scared like that," she said.
"I'd rather know what's going on. Keep your enemies close rather than far away."
She said the police would not intervene.
"I've been down to the police station because it's got really scary and the police here (in LA) don't do anything about it so instead I take it in my own hands and start speaking back to him," she said.
"There's nothing you can do until you turn up hurt."

WHO IS FLORENCE BRUDENELL-BRUCE?
Well-educated and from a close-knit and happy family, Florence is the youngest of four children of Old Etonian wine merchant Andrew and his French wife Sophie.
Scouted by a model agency at age 15 coming out of Topshop, Florence finished her A-levels at Stowe school at the behest of her parents before going on to model in her gap year, landing a campaign for adidas in America, vamping up John Lewis’s image in a swimwear campaign, and posing in Elizabeth Hurley’s designs. A billboard campaign for Knickerbox followed.
Naturally slim, she never diets and adores baking. Florence follows her French mother’s advice on healthy eating: eat a good breakfast, lunch and dinner with little snacking in between, and the metabolism will regulate itself, she says. The day before a fashion shoot she avoids large meals; on the shoot she sips ginger tea from a flask, then in the evening enjoys a Thai soup: ‘If food is spicy, it feels good for you.’
With her modelling career going from strength to strength, Florence confessed she loved the ‘acting side’ of modelling and took acting classes at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Her efforts won her a roles in a Bollywood film, Love Aaj Kal, for which she also had a crash course in Bhangra dancing – ‘I’m quite mal-coordinated’ she said. 'I know the engineers and mechanics thought it was brilliant.'
Florence, who has a history of art degree from Bristol University, has modelled for huge names including John Lewis and adidas.
In addition to her modelling career, she also appeared as the love interest in Bollywood movie Love Aaj Kal two years ago.
However, despite her role in the movie, Florence said at the time a career in the Bollywood industry was unlikely due to her blonde hair and fair colouring.
Florence also recently appeared in a national TV campaign promoting the Paddy Power App and mobile betting for the bookmakers.
Florence has also placed huge importance on starting a family when she finds the right man.
Speaking in 2008, in answer to the question 'What's your ultimate ambition'?, Florence replied: 'I would like to be happy - oh my goodness, I sound like one of those cliched Miss Universe contestants who say their most fervent desire is world peace.
'And successful - not to make pots of money, but to be fulfilled in my career and then eventually, because I am only 22, to marry and have a family...'
As well as Button, Florence has been linked to stars including society favourite Henry St George and Iain Russell.
Harry, meanwhile, split from Chelsy in January 2009 and has since been romantically linked to celebrities including The Xtra Factor host Caroline Flack and Dancing On Ice star Natalie Pinkham.
And despite rumours of a reconciliation after Chelsy attended Prince William and Catherine Middleton's wedding, Harry came forward to insist he was '100 per cent single'.
Speaking at the Hard Rock Calling festival in London last weekend, Harry made no mention of his new relationship, telling festival-goers: 'I am not seeing anyone at the moment. I'm 100 per cent single.
'I'm working a lot at the moment, so dating and watching TV are the last things I have time for.'

Actress Christina Hendricks has revealed that she finds it difficult to buy bathing suits for herself because of her ‘breasts’.
The ‘Mad Men’ star is known for her curvy figure, but says her fuller chest and small waist make difficult to source suitable beachwear.
"It's really hard to find a bathing suit if you have breasts. You either get smooshed down or there's no support,” Contactmusic quoted her as telling Lucky magazine.
Hendricks also said her problems extend to finding dresses to wear to red carpet events.
"I have to be careful about my proportions and keep it simple. What works for me is structure and something that shows my waist,” she said.
"No one will send me dresses. Designers loan size 2 or 4 samples to actresses, but I'm not that size. It's like I'm a freak because I'm curvy and I can't squeeze into those things. I've had some problems with that,” she added.
Emma Stone, it turns out, doesn't quite have a knack for creating delicious treats for entitled Hollywood hounds.
Luckily, there was another career path available to her when she packed up, quit high school and moved out west.
Covering this month's Vanity Fair, Stone reveals her early career struggles, which she can now make light of, given her enormous -- and growing -- success.
“I could hear that, in the other room, a girl had just gone in and they were saying, ‘You are our pick … On a scale of 1 to 10 you’re an 11,’” Stone tells the magazine of her audition for the now-cancelled NBC "Heroes." The girl in the room, of course, was Hayden Panettiere.
“I went home and just had this meltdown,” Stone says, labeling the moment her “rock bottom.”
For many, high school graduation is a difficult moment; so used to the comfort of their hometowns, with family and friends all around, they're unable, or at least not ready, to head into the real world. Stone's graduation time, however, was different; hers came on the big screen, in her big breakout role. Having already left behind all the trappings of home, she had no problem with the transition.
“I did Superbad in what would’ve been my senior year,” she tells Vanity Fair. “I was playing a senior, and had I graduated I would’ve missed that opportunity, and had I missed that opportunity I wouldn’t be here right now.”
Right here, of course, is starring in two huge summer movies: the civil rights-era book-to-film, "The Help," in which she plays a young journalist chronicling the struggles of black maids in the South, and romantic comedy "Crazy, Stupid, Love," in which she finally lassoes a wild Ryan Gosling.
Then, there is of course her coming star turn as Gwen Stacy in the upcoming "Amazing Spider-Man."

Shia LaBeouf has seen things, and he's not afraid to talk about them. Sometimes, the truth hurts like a fight on moonshine or three flip car accident, but that doesn't worry the young "Transformers" star. He's been through a lot worse than a few Hollywood rivalries.
Featured on the cover of the new issue of Details Magazine, LaBeouf opens up about many things, including his rough childhood, which involved living in a poor neighborhood with an ice shavings-selling clown mom and heroin-addicted dad who accosted executives on the set of his Disney Channel breakout show, "Even Stevens."
It wasn't the typical crazy Hollywood parent relationship, though; LaBeouf went out of his way to make his own breaks, hitting open mics from an early age and calling agents and casting directors in hops of breaking out of his troubled home. He immediately stuck out at his audition for his Disney Channel show; LaBeouf performed an old Lenny Bruce comedy monologue.
Finding his way from child star to number one choice for major franchise films, old and new, LaBeouf admits that he bristles at fame -- and also enjoys its benefits. On the set of "Transformers," he reveals in the interview, he had a fling with his now former co-star Megan Fox.
"Look, you're on the set for six months, with someone who's rooting to be attracted to you, and you're rooting to be attracted to them," he tells the magazine. "I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation. But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry onscreen."
But what of her marriage to Brian Austin Green?
"I don't know, man. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know..." he repeats, "It was what it was."
LaBeouf details the bar fights and car crashes that have marked a sometimes troubled personal life, but he's also made waves when it comes to his own rough assessment of his films.
Beyond insulting his second "Transformers" effort, LaBeouf dissed the fourth Indiana Jones movie, for which he was specially recruited by Steven Spielberg (also the producer of the "Transformers" films), Shia bristles at the criticism he got for telling the truth.
He also rips on another long-gestating sequel in which he starred, Oliver Stone's "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps."
"He's trying to play nice. But for a movie like Wall Street that had so much bite the first time around to come out without fangs and preach a message of hope wasn't what people were looking for," LaBeouf said, while praising (curiously) the storyline and performances.
Though jarring to read, his film criticism is nothing new, and adds up to a bit of a career shift he has planned, away from all the big budget films in which he's starred for Spielberg.
"That's a gift and a curse," LaBeouf told the Los Angeles Times recently. "Steven introduced me to the world in a way. The man has been incredible to me. But the work that I've done with him, the character variation is not heavy. It's sort of all in the same vein. ... I've gotta anchor these movies that are in these outrageous worlds, and I have to be as tangible as possible. ... I have no problem with that, but I don't want to be there forever."
That leads to his role in the moon shine drama "The Wettest County In The World," an indie film that caused great commotion upon its distribution rights coming up for sale.
"When you're a racehorse and you've got 20 trainers, all the trainers want the racehorse to run a certain way," he told the LA Times of the difference between his major films and "Wettest," which co-stars Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy, Jessica Chastain and Mia Wasikowska.
"What does the racehorse want to do? 'Wettest' is the first time they've ever asked the racehorse. I've been running for a team of people for a long time and I don't take any of it back. I've learned a great deal about a certain type of filmmaking. But I have ambitions toward another type of filmmaking that I haven't been allowed to engage in yet."
After a childhood and adolescence caged in by troubled parents and the anger buried deep inside, LaBeouf, it seems ,is finally ready to go in his own direction. And if he hits a few bumps on the track? He knows how to handle a little rockiness.

Did George Clooney and Italian model Elisabetta Canalis break up because he's already tried marriage once before--and it didn't work out?
The famed actor and social activist was married once before, though he and actress Talia Balsam--whom he wed in 1989--split just four years after they tied the knot. In January, Clooney told Piers Morgan that once is enough.
"I was married, so I gave it a shot," he said.
Canalis may have been holding out to be the next Mrs. Clooney--to no avail. She told Italian magazine Chi earlier this month that she plans to be married in the future.
"I am a firm believer in marriage, in the future I will be married, but for the time being I am happy as I am," she said."I don't need anything to confirm how happy I am."
But don't expect Canalis to sit home mourning the split. She was spotted socializing with NBA star (and single dad) Dwyane Wade at a fashion show Tuesday afternoon--merely hours before she and Clooney released a statement about the breakup.
A source tells the New York Daily News that Canalis "didn't appear too heartbroken" while flirting with Wade, who is dating actress Gabrielle Union.
As for Clooney, it's already being speculated which newly single actress the eternal bachelor will date next.

In case you forgot, Grigorieva brought assault charges against him for striking her while she was holding their baby, then later dropped them mid-trial. A series of horrific audio recordings of Gibson berating and degrading Grigorieva were also released.

Lindsay Lohan just had the best failed alcohol test ever.
The troubled actress, who is currently serving 120 days house arrest for violating the terms of her 2007 DUI by taking a necklace without permission from a Venice boutique, was summoned to a court hearing in Los Angeles Thursday morning after allegedly failing a court-ordered alcohol test. However, it turns out that she didn’t violate her probation after all.
Judge Stephanie Sautner ruled on Thursday that the prior judge on the case, Elden Fox, only required controlled substances testing from January 3 to February 25, 2011, which means Lohan is free to drink all she desires so long as she doesn’t get behind-the-wheel if over the limit.
Lindsay Lohan is still in big trouble.
“She’s done nothing wrong, she has done everything right,” Lohan’s attorney Shawn Chapman Holley added in a press conference proceeding the hearing. “I think we need to give her some credit for that. She wasn’t supposed to be tested at all after February 25th. Alcohol is a legal substance.”
But the news does come as a surprise to some legal experts, who are perplexed as to why Lohan is not under court-ordered drug and alcohol testing even though she is still on probation from her arrest four years ago.
“Ordinarily those on probation are required to be tested for drugs and alcohol, especially when they have alcohol related convictions on their record,” California-based criminal defense attorney David Wohl told FOX411’s Pop Tarts. “Why Judge Fox chose not to include alcohol testing is anyone's guess, but he clearly gave LiLo a huge break by omitting alcohol testing from her probation terms.”
During her house arrest, the 24-year-old has also been spotted hosting parties and entertaining into the early hours at her Venice Beach apartment, however Judge Sautner also ruled on Thursday that the soirees were not to continue.
“Lindsay could actually challenge this new restriction, the Judge has no standing or legal authority to restrict who she associates with in her private life other than ordering she not associate with other people on probation or other co-defendants she may have been associated with in past cases,” Wohl said. “If she's not using illegal drugs she could argue that who she ‘parties’ with is her business and hers alone.”
Nonetheless, a source close to Lohan told us that she was actually very “calm and thankful” ahead of the hearing, and wasn’t freaking over the prospect of being thrown back behind bars.
“Lindsay is always grateful for these situations because they bring her back into the ‘present,’” said our insider.
