We were about to tell you not to judge these celebrities for their absurd extravagances ... but we won't. The Frisky reminds us how the other half lives with a list of nine of the craziest ways stars have spent their cash:
  • Victoria Beckham’s Birkin bag collection: A Hermes handbag is serious stuff—each one costs $9,000 to $150,000. But Posh's collection gets bonus points for extravagance: It's rumored to be worth close to $2 million.
  • Nicolas Cage’s dinosaur skull: He’s got a pyramid tomb, two castles, and a whole bunch of other stuff he can’t afford, but Nic Cage also has a $276,000 dinosaur skull ... and was reportedly in a bidding war with Leonardo DiCaprio over the artifact.

  • Bono’s misplaced hat: U2’s lead singer was in Italy, but a hat he wanted to wear was in London. No big deal. He just bought it a $1,700 plane ticket and flew the chapeau to him.

  • Lady Gaga’s ghostbuster: Turns out pop goddess Gaga is afraid of ghosts, which is almost as unbelievable as the $50,000 she allegedly dropped on "some EMF-meter" to keep evil spirits away.
